Philosophy

Laytonardo began from a fascination with craftsmanship, movement, forgotten artifacts, and the beauty of creating something entirely by hand. My work sits somewhere between jewelry, sculpture, and rediscovered relic — objects designed to feel discovered rather than manufactured.

My background in architecture, construction, and music all shaped the foundation of the brand. Years spent studying structure, balance, materials, rhythm, and composition gradually evolved into a design language rooted in asymmetry, movement, mystery, and technical detail.

Many of the pieces are inspired by ancient civilizations, lost technologies, celestial forms, and Renaissance machinery. I’m drawn to objects that feel timeless — artifacts with a history you can’t quite place.

Every piece is built by hand using brass, stone, resin, and custom fabricated components sourced over years of experimentation and collecting. Nothing is mass produced, and most works evolve organically through the process of making itself.

Laytonardo was never created to become a conventional luxury brand. It began from a much simpler place: the desire to create beautiful things that didn’t already exist.

A huge part of that evolution came after meeting my wife. Being with her unlocked a level of creativity, confidence, and inspiration that fundamentally changed the trajectory of my work. Her influence is woven throughout the spirit of the brand and continues to shape it today. Marielly also happens to have the best name on the planet — and credit goes to her for the name of this company.

At its core, Laytonardo is an ongoing exploration of craftsmanship, movement, storytelling, and imagination — creating objects that feel personal and timeless.

Because the most meaningful objects are the ones that feel like they were waiting to be found.
