Apollo II

Apollo II is a celestial kinetic sculpture built around movement, reflection, and suspended symbolism. Constructed from solid brass rod, stamped brass charms, antique brass details, and 18k gold-plated chainwork, the piece carries the feeling of an orbiting artifact — part mechanism, part talisman, part cosmic relic.

The composition includes twelve hanging prisms, five distinct crystal forms, handcrafted talisman statement pendants from India, unreleased Laytonardo Deep Sea pendants, a mirror-finish sphere, a labradorite sphere, and an acrylic Zen spaceman suspended within the work. As the sculpture turns, brass, crystal, stone, and reflection shift together, creating a layered play of light and motion.

Designed as a one-of-one Laytonardo kinetic work, Apollo II brings together ancient symbolism, celestial exploration, and mechanical balance in a sculptural object intended to transform the space around it.
